Gets interim relief from court after filing for anticipatory bail in rape case to Aditya Pancholi

Few days ago, Mumbai police booked actor Aditya Pancholi in a raise case which was filed in 2007 by a popular Bollywood actress. Police officials revealed that the case was registered against the actor after finding evidences against him in the case. And post this, Aditya Pancholi applied for an anticipatory bail in the case in a sessions court in Mumbai. The court has now granted interim relief to Aditya Pancholi till July 19 which comes as a sigh of relief for the actor, according to ANI. These developments come after reports started doing rounds that an arrest warrant has been issued against Aditya Pancholi. The Versova Police had booked the actor as an accused in case of rape and assault of a Bollywood actress.

 The complaint was said to have been filed by the actress' sister in which she alleged that almost a decade ago, Aditya Pancholi had physically abused her sister. Mumbai Police spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner of Police Manjunath Shinge confirmed the developments to IANS, however, he declined to elaborate. The police officials had booked Aditya Pancholi under sections 376, 328, 384, 341, 342, 323, and 506 of the IPC.

 According to various reports, police said that it would be tough to prove the case since it was 10 years ago. However, it is being said that the police officials are doing their best in the case to find evidences.

 Two years ago in 2017, the actress in question had accused Aditya Pancholi of harassing her mentally and physically. Responding to these allegations, Aditya Pancholi had filed a defamation suit stating that the actress was trying to malign his image. The report also stated how Aditya Pancholi had earlier revealed that he could be framed in a fake rape case if he doesn't withdraw his defamation suit against the actress.
